We might not be able to part the Red Sea or turn water into wine but everyone of us has the ability to perform smaller miracles. For those who don’t have the ability to focus well enough, or who are too impatient to work at it long enough, if the desire and determination are present and you practice one of the smaller miracles, you can at least get the reaction from people, “Oh, WOW!! How did you do that? inches
We start with the conclusion that thought, cloaked in desire, becomes a reality and that what the mind conceives, you can achieve. What this reduces down to is that first you have to want something so badly that you can almost taste it. You have to eat it, sleep it, breathe it until it becomes your reality.
At this point, I should mention that you better be careful about wanting something so much because at some point, you will get it. There is an old saying that I am certain everyone of us continues to grow up with, “Be careful what you desire because you might get it. inches
Miracles are performed by moving atoms and molecules to bring matter into being. By puting in order those atoms and molecules you can stop something from manifesting or make it manifest. It takes a lot of energy and intense concentration but everyone of us has the power to create miracles with creation.
Paramahansa Yogananda, an Indian yogi, wrote about the law of miracles in his book, Autobiography of a Yogi. He said, “The actual form of the projection (whatever it be: a tree, a medicine, a human body) depends upon the yogi’s wish and by his power of will and of creation. inches soundcloud acim
When i first got into metaphysics, I read everything I could get my hands on. I was so attracted with the various concepts I was learning about i always tried my hand at doing everything from stopping a torrential downpour long enough for me to get in and out of my car and go into and out of stores, to telling the universe i always had bills to pay and I needed x income by a certain date, to raising people’s vibrations without them paying attention i always was moving atoms and molecules to accomplish it.
It was this kind of exciting time. During those early years, nearly four decades ago, there had been so much written about the art of creation that it was a no-brainer that my curiosity would lead me to test it. Every day, I would spend a long time training my mind to picture something that I need to to occur and I would wait in eager anticipation for it to take place.
I soon realized that there were a few key elements that had to be included, in addition to having a strong desire to make it happen or stop it from happening. I also had to notice in my mind’s eye, in its entirety, and know with every fiber of my being that it would appear exactly as I had seen it.
I was having so much fun performing these minor miracles with just my mind, i always visualized everything I could think of just for the sheer pleasure of being able to accomplish the most challenging tasks.
One day I received a gorgeous floral arrangement as a gift. It was in a beautiful delft blue ceramic pot and it looked and smelled luxurious. I loved it. While most people have a green thumb, I have always had a black thumb. As much as I love flowers and plants, they generally die under my care.
After a few days, some of the flowers in this arrangement looked a bit wilted. I truly wanted to preserve them so i tried to picture them being repaired to their former health.
Every day I would water the flowers and put my hands around them, imaging healing light entering them. Then i would remove the dead flowers and continue to picture tenacious ones getting healthier.
I had told my friend about the experiment I was doing and we arranged to speak together once a day to track my progress.
Every day I would call her to tell her that the experiment was working on the cut flowers because some of them still looked beautiful and fresh. About a couple weeks later, I accidentally carressed one of the bottom flowers and found that the reason they still looked so beautiful and fresh was because they were artificial.
While creation might not work on healing artificial flowers, at least for those who have not yet reached yogi status, it does work on a multitude of other things.
For those who are eager to learn how to perform miracles, start with something easy, something that is within the realm of possibility, and have it be something you truly desire. Picture it if you do not notice so clearly in your mind’s eye that you can almost feel the atoms and molecules being rearranged to make your wish come true. Then put the full force of your will behind it and expect it to take place and it you can do.
